New Services Accepted by the Celebrating Innovations in Health Care Expo 2009


Toronto ON - Better Living Health and Community Services is excited to announce it's two new programs - Grocery Gateway and the new Emergency-Based Maintenance Services program - have been accepted by the Celebrating Innovations in Health Care Expo 2009.

These programs were selected from hundreds of submissions for their innovation and quality. The programs will be exhibiting under the theme of Meeting Community Needs Through Integrated Care. For more information on these innovative services click here.

"Innovation is one of our core values and we are very pleased to be recognized for services that have found new ways to serve seniors better." According to William Krever, President and CEO of Better Living Health and Community Services.

The Expo is taking place November 18 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The Minister of Health will kick off the event at 11 a.m. with a presentation ceremony to six projects with innovation grants of $10,000. Another project will receive a $10,000 innovation grant at the end of the day based on the People’s Choice votes received during the event.
