Do you love working outdoors and getting out in the community? Four Seasons Connections is an outdoor home maintenance program assists seniors and adults living with a disability to prescreened home maintenance workers in their community. We are always recruiting friendly, dedicated individuals to assist North York seniors with their outdoor home maintenance activities i.e. leaf raking, gardening, snow shoveling etc.
Home Maintenance Activities
Our precreened workers provide outdoor home maintenance assistance to seniors in the fall/winter and/or spring/summer season. Outdoor home maintenance activities can range from snow and ice removal in the winter, to planting and grass cutting in the summer. We give you the freedom to choose outdoor activities that peak your interest and then connect you to a senior based on your preferences.
Personal Characteristics
Our workers enjoy setting their own casual schedule; bettering their community; assisting the elderly; and of course working outdoors!
WAGES
Workers receive same day cash payment after each work session. Cash is paid by the senior client.
$10/hr - Youth (17 and under)
$15/hr – Adults (18 and over)
$20/hr - Adults with their own equipment
BENEFITS
As a casual outdoor home maintenance worker, you receive direct cash payment after each work session; you are able to set your own casual schedule; and build a resume that boasts of community service to seniors.
