Thompson House: How to Apply

All applications for admission to Thompson House should be made through a local Community Care Access Centre. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants with a valid health card from any Canadian province. The Community Care Access Centres in the local area are:

Rates
The cost of accommodation at Thompson House is set by the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care (MOHLTC) and as of July 1, 2009 is as follows:

Accommodation rates are adjusted annually by the MOHLTC and apply to all Long-term care homes in Ontario. Eligibility for a rate reduction for those paying the Basic Accommodation rate will be determined by the application of an income test. Residents in preferred Accommodation (Semi-private) are not eligible for rate reductions.
